Hi there! I’m Moona. I’m based out of Houston, TX and I love being creative.
From singing, to playing instruments, to writing, to acting—the list goes on, I stumbled upon my favorite creativity in high school: painting. When discovering makeup, my skills from painting transferred from a canvas to faces. It took time for me to sharpen my skills and understand the new complexities of it, but I finally reached a place where I became confident in my ability to create, teach, and explore with makeup.
I love being able to do makeup for all types of occasions. Besides makeup, I also have expertise in SFX, creative director, and styling. I have been in the makeup industry since 2016, and the film industry since 2019. I have a really big passion for beauty, creativity, and film. After working as the lead makeup artist on my first feature film, I fell in love with working on film sets and went on to pursue more in the industry. Makeup can take place in so many different ways and I've seen it help all kinds of people and mediums. In today's world, makeup is a staple for a finished look and I hope to share the beauty of it with everyone. Creating relationships along the way for it has been a blessing.
